Bitcoin Market Update - September 25, 2026

Current Market Overview

Bitcoin has experienced a pullback, currently trading around $83,000 after reaching a peak of nearly $86,000, the highest level since January 2026. This decline follows a significant influx of capital into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, which recorded approximately $191 million in net inflows on September 24, marking the sixth consecutive day of positive inflows.

ETF Inflows and Market Sentiment

Since the beginning of the year, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have seen a turnaround with net inflows totaling around $787 million, a stark contrast to the cumulative outflows of about $5.5 billion recorded at the end of June. In September alone, inflows have reached approximately $2.56 billion, following $3.52 billion in August, indicating a resurgence in institutional demand.

However, the pace of inflows has notably slowed, dropping from nearly $999 million at the start of the week to $191 million by Thursday, reflecting an 81% decrease in just a few days.

Technical Analysis

Despite the recent pullback, Bitcoin remains up about 8% over the past week. The technical indicators show a positive setup, with the daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) cooling to 61, suggesting that the market is not overbought. Bitcoin is trading above both the 200-day and 50-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMA), which is a bullish sign. A "golden cross" has formed, reminiscent of early 2023 when Bitcoin began a sustained bull market.

Key resistance levels are identified around $100,000, coinciding with the 61.8% Fibonacci retracement level, while support is seen in the $75,000–$77,000 range.

On-Chain Data Insights

On-chain metrics indicate a gradual recovery in Bitcoin demand, with spot-market outflows decreasing and futures demand increasing. Although total demand remains negative, the trend is shifting positively, suggesting a potential for stronger upward movement if spot demand returns above zero.

Notably, Bitcoin outflows from Binance have surged, with significant withdrawals indicating that investors may be moving their assets to private wallets, which typically suggests a long-term holding strategy. This trend, combined with rising prices, could signal improving market sentiment.
