Terms governing access to and use of Hedgwatch, including its market intelligence, Industry Hub, submissions, listings and commercial services.
Last updated: 2 August 2026
1) Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using hedgwatch.com, subscribing to communications, submitting material or purchasing a product or placement, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy and Disclosures. If you do not agree, do not use the site or services.
2) Operator
Hedgwatch is operated by United River Capital Pte. Ltd. References to “Hedgwatch”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean the site operator and its authorised service providers.
3) Informational content only
Hedgwatch provides financial media, market intelligence, research, analytics, directories and industry information for general informational and educational purposes. Nothing on the site constitutes personalised financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, or an offer, solicitation or recommendation to transact in any financial product.
You remain responsible for evaluating information and making your own decisions. Market data, news, forecasts, signals and model outputs may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. Trading and investing involve risk, including possible loss of principal. Our Disclosures form part of these terms.
4) Accounts, subscriptions and payments
Certain services may require registration, payment or third-party checkout. You must provide accurate information and keep any account credentials confidential. Prices, billing periods, included features and cancellation terms presented at checkout form part of the applicable purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, fees already charged are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed by us. We may refuse, suspend or terminate access where payment fails, information is materially inaccurate, these terms are breached or continued access creates security, legal or operational risk.
5) Editorial and Industry Hub submissions
You may submit press releases, news, company information, events, jobs, people moves, reports, courses, awards, images and supporting files. You confirm that you are authorised to submit the material, that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that its publication will not infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality or other rights.
You retain ownership of your material. You grant Hedgwatch a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to review, store, reproduce, edit, format, translate, excerpt, publish, distribute, promote and archive it in connection with Hedgwatch. This licence continues for material already published or archived unless we agree otherwise.
Submission is not a guarantee of review, publication, timing, prominence or continued availability. We may edit, decline, label, correct, update or remove material at our discretion. You must not upload confidential information, personal data you are not authorised to share, malware or unlawful content.
6) Sponsorships, featured placements and commercial services
Hedgwatch may offer sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships, featured listings, promoted events or jobs, partner research and other paid placements. The agreed scope, duration, price and deliverables will be stated in an order, proposal, invoice or checkout page.
Payment purchases defined visibility or distribution; it does not purchase favourable editorial coverage, an award, ranking outcome or endorsement. Commercial material will be identified using an appropriate label such as “Sponsored”, “Partner Content”, “Featured” or “Advertisement”. We may reject or remove commercial material that is misleading, unsuitable or inconsistent with our standards.
7) Acceptable use
You must not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, scrape at a harmful or excessive rate, impersonate another person, submit deceptive material or use the service unlawfully. Reasonable use of public pages and links is permitted, subject to applicable law and these terms.
8) Intellectual property
Except for third-party and user-submitted material, the Hedgwatch name, branding, site design, original text, graphics, compilations, databases, research and software are owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and use the site for personal or internal business purposes, but may not republish, sell or systematically reproduce protected material without permission.
9) Third-party content and links
Hedgwatch may contain third-party submissions, advertisements, data, embedded services and external links. We do not control third-party services and do not guarantee their accuracy, security, availability or suitability. A listing, link or publication does not by itself constitute endorsement.
10) Availability and corrections
The site and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may correct content and change, suspend or discontinue features, coverage, pricing or availability. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that all errors will be corrected.
11) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hedgwatch and its operator, officers, employees, contributors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity, or trading or investment loss arising from reliance on the site, third-party content or service interruption.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12) Responsibility for submitted material
You are responsible for material you submit and for claims arising from your breach of these terms, lack of authority, or infringement of another party’s rights. Where permitted by law, you agree to reimburse reasonable losses and costs incurred by us as a direct result of such a breach.
13) Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Hedgwatch develops. The current version and effective date will appear on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the site or by email where appropriate. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14) Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Subject to any mandatory rights available under applicable law, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
