Market Summary: US100 Gains Ahead of Nvidia Earnings

Date: 25 February 2026

US100 Index Performance

Current Value: 25,133.26 (+0.47%)

Today, the focus of investors is primarily on Wall Street, particularly on Nvidia's upcoming earnings report, which is expected to be released after the US market closes. Analysts are anticipating a record quarter for Nvidia, with strong sales figures and optimistic forward guidance.

The Nasdaq 100 futures have shown a slight increase of nearly 0.3% around 9:30 AM Poland time, pushing the index above the significant 25,000-point mark. The index is currently trading near the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement level of its recent downward movement. A sustained breakout above this level, particularly through the 25,150 mark, could pave the way for a rise towards the 25,550 level, where the 61.8% retracement is located.

However, market analysts caution that any negative surprises in Nvidia's earnings report could allow sellers to regain control over equity indices, as there is little tolerance for weakness in this quarterly release. The index remains approximately 600 points away from the daily EMA200, indicating that market stress is still present.

Yesterday, Wall Street experienced a brief respite after Anthropic announced strategic partnerships with major US software companies, including Spotify and Salesforce. This development alleviated concerns regarding potential disruptions to their business models, leading investors to consider a scenario where companies integrate AI into their products rather than compete against it.

Nevertheless, should fears resurface following Nvidia's report, the 24,400 area will be a critical test for the bullish trend, serving as a key support zone that the index previously rebounded from in early February. Key support levels to watch include 24,750 (23.6% Fibonacci retracement) and 24,400 (EMA200). The primary resistance level remains at 25,500, where the 61.8% retracement aligns with the EMA50.

Overall, the market mood is cautiously optimistic as investors await Nvidia's earnings, with significant implications for the tech sector and broader market trends.
